Strandvägen 1
and Blacknuss
In the end of 2015, the restaurant Strandvägen 1 invited the legendary Swedish music collective Blacknuss to perform every night for an entire month. It was documented by photographer and director Saga Berlin (Niceguzz), and together with Blacknuss conductor Martin Jonsson, we created a photo book that felt as high-end as the restaurant and as authentic and playful as the band.
About the process
Concept and visual design for a series of limited photobooks from the restaurant Strandvägen 1. The first one is dedicated to the Swedish music collective Blacknuss, photographed by Saga Berlin Niceguzz. The cover is bronze-foiled and hand-welded dust cover in PVC plastic. The inlay combines coated and uncoated paper and is unattached to the cover, revealing the open back.
